Today is another day where we head to Singapore to cover one of Singapore’s most shocking crimes, known as "The Andrew Road triple murder". This was a case of robbery turned murder in a bungalow at Andrew Road, Singapore, in 1983.

The robbery was committed by two young men, Sek Kim Wah and Nyu Kok Meng.

Originally, the crime was supposed only to be robbery. Still, During the robbery, Sek murdered three of the five hostages while Meng, his robbery partner actually protected the remaining two hostages.

Eventually, both were arrested, and it was then further revealed in police investigations that Sek was also responsible for an unrelated double murder of two more victims, whom he killed using the same method as for the Andrew Road victims, making him the first and only serial killer in Singapore to date.

It was 6 January 1998, two days after a young woman went missing, a semi-naked body was discovered in a forest at Woodlands, Singapore with injuries to her head, abdomen, and neck. An autopsy report revealed that she had been raped before she died from a skull fracture. The police conducted extensive investigations to solve the case and sought information on any suspects behind the brutal rape-murder, which shocked the nation at that time. However, due to a lack of clues and suspects, the murder remains unsolved.

This is the horrifying story of what happened to Dini Haryati, a beautiful student and intern from Indonesia who came to Singapore for an adventure and a new experience. Justice was not served for Dini, but her story in Singapore will never be forgotten.
