Welcome to Episode 11 of Season 4!
In this week's episode, we explore the sought-after idea of "singular focus" and how that applies in our lives, our work, and our activism in support of the causes that matter to us. Singular focus is often hailed as being valuable and necessary to doing deep work that has impact, but both of us have found this type of focus to be mostly elusive in our lives. Is that a problem to be solved? Does it mean that we are fickle and just can't choose? Or is the desire for simplicity, essentialism, discipline, and focus something that we have been trained to want by a system created by, and for, men?
