Singing Spring Frogs March 2023

Relax to the serenade of the singing spring frogs announcing, "Spring is here!" The vernal pond behind my house is home to what sounds like hundreds of frogs who sing loud and proud every year in March, or waq̓waq̓us in Lushootseed which conveys the concept of the time frogs sing. Be comforted by the hum of distant planes proving the presence of other humans--you are not alone.
