Signs of Life - Medium Insights with Host Roman Karpishka Guest: #FFFCertifiedMedium Joelle Tremblay Joelle has trained with many international teachers in mediumship and yoga to enhance her natural gifts. Having completed hundreds of readings, she is strongly in tune with spirit, allowing her to help you receive communication from your loved ones on the other side. She compares a reading to a hug from a loved one. Her role is simply to be the interpreter, the translator between you and them, helping you reconnect. Alongside her mediumship, Joelle writes children’s books focused on spirituality and losing a loved one, with all proceeds supporting non-profit organizations. She lives in Canada but also does private readings via Zoom. This episode of Medium Insights Hour features Joelle Tremblay, a French-Canadian medium who transitioned from a high-level corporate and analytical background to a spiritual calling. The conversation explores her unique path to mediumship, the physical demands of energy work, and her specialized communication with those in non-responsive states From Corporate Analytics to Spiritual Awakening Joelle’s background is rooted in academia and business, holding a master’s degree and completing half of a doctorate while managing complex corporate projects and three small businesses. For much of her life, spirituality was absent until a struggle with infertility led her to a retreat that reopened her intuitive connections. Her abilities returned with striking clarity during her third trimester of pregnancy, a transformation she credits to her son, who acted as the catalyst for her new path. Before turning professional, she underwent extensive training, including over 100 practice sittings and certification through the Forever Family Foundation. The Physical Reality of Energy Work Joelle candidly discusses the "learning curve" of professional mediumship, specifically the physical toll it takes. Initially, she attempted to work 40 hours a week, which resulted in severe "energy sickness" manifesting as symptoms similar to food poisoning. She eventually realized that her body could not sustain that volume of energy work. Today, she maintains a sustainable practice of 3 to 5 readings per day and emphasizes the necessity of "energetic hygiene," which includes regular Reiki sessions and therapy to process the emotional overflow inherent in her work. Communication with the Non-Responsive and the Departed A unique aspect of Joelle’s work is her ability to communicate with the consciousness of living individuals who are non-verbal or in states like comas, vegetative states, or advanced dementia. She notes that their consciousness remains fully present and clear, even when the physical body fails to communicate. Regarding the transition of death, Joelle believes that the spirit often detaches from the body before traumatic impacts, ensuring a painless transition. She identifies as a "message medium," focusing on the healing content of communications rather than just validation points. Literature and Legacy Joelle has authored two distinct books: a children’s book inspired by her godson that teaches kids a "bubble of protection" prayer to manage nighttime fears, and a guide for partners of mediums. The latter was written to help couples navigate the relationship shifts that occur when one partner undergoes a sudden spiritual awakening, drawing from her own husband's experience of adapting to her new path. Joelle Tremblay represents a modern bridge between the analytical and the ethereal. Her journey emphasizes that mediumship is not just a gift, but a demanding craft that requires strict boundaries, physical maintenance, and a commitment to serving the living and the departed with integrity. Bringing You Evidence of An Afterlife Since 2004 Forever Family Foundation is a global 100%volunteer non-profit, non-sectarian organization that supports the premise that life does not end with physical death, furthers the understanding of Afterlife Science and survival of consciousness, and offers support to the bereaved. Among the active members of the organization and the executive board are scientists, researchers, medical doctors, philosophers and educators who have devoted substantial parts of their careers to the investigation of the survival hypothesis - an existence beyond this physical world.
