  • "So long, and thanks for all the fish." - ft. Joey Daccord
    Apr 17 2025

It's a very special 32nd episode! It's the final episode before our summer break and the final episode for producer extraordinaire, Grant Beery as he heads off to a new gig.

As the Seattle Kraken wrap up the '24-'25 season, our hosts Piper Shaw and JT Brown sit down with goaltender Joey Daccord to talk about his journey so far with the organization. After being selected in the Expansion Draft, leading the Firebirds to the Calder Cup Final, and now gaining the starting netminder job, Joey discusses what this organization means to him and why he's committed long term to Seattle. Joey also shares insights on how players like Brandon Montour, Chandler Stephenson, and others contribute to the locker room as well as his process for staying in shape and mentally prepared to stop pucks every night.

Thanks for listening all season! Stay tuned for some special episodes during the summer, and we'll return to our regular schedule in the fall.

Outstanding podcast from an amazing organization

What an amazing and talented group we are lucky enough to listen to night in and night out, now with a weekly podcast. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing GM, ownership group, Root Sports crew, and of course the Kraken themselves. I can't wait to listen to each new podcast to get to know more about the team and everyone involved making it great.
