Sidra Kranz Moshinsky – Jewish Museum of Australia: Gandel Centre of Judaica is celebrating 30 years in its beloved Alma Road home

Morry Frenkel speaks with Sidra Kranz Moshinsky, Director and CEO of the Jewish Museum of Australia: Gandel Centre of Judaica, about the museum’s Open Day this coming Sunday, 30th November, 2025, celebrating 30 years at its current location at 26 Alma Road, St Kilda. The museum’s permanent collection will be on display, as well as two special exhibitions: Tammy Kanat’s: Circle of Her and Inbal Nissim’s Regards From Your Future. Sessions during the day include Chanukkah Storytime with PJ Library, a Curator Guided Tour of Tammy’s artworks, Jewish Jazz Melodies and Looking Back: Three Decades at Alma Road. Sidra also talks about the future location of the museum at the Jewish Arts Quarter in Elsternwick. Entry to the museum on Open Day will be free, but booking is essential and can be made through the website at http://www.jewishmuseum.com.au/.
