  • 43 Aubrey Mercer: Author of "Son of Inasvale"
    Apr 17 2025

Aubrey Mercer is a local first-time published author. I sat down with her and discussed her book, her process, and her tips for new authors. Enjoy this honest and refreshing interview with local author, Aubrey!

    Synopsis of "Son of Inasvale":

The Inasvalian Chief’s son is thrown into a life he has never known and forced to hold a title he does not wish to bear — the Lost Prince of Danta. Kazen Blevins struggles as he navigates a loss of identity, reuniting with long-lost family, and maintaining his newfound princely duties.
The Princess of Zrul is an adventure seeker at heart, longing to travel from kingdom to kingdom. Luckily for her, Wren Stoneshire’s suitors are eager to meet her in their respective kingdoms. The only catch? She is not looking for a husband.

  • 42 Treating People with A Christ-Forward Mindset with Sean Troxclair of Troxcare
    Apr 9 2025

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Sean Troxclair to discuss his treatment style and how he is serving the people of Shreveport at a high level.

Sean Troxclair MD, CNSC is a physician with formal training in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Nutrition. Dr. Troxclair has worked in intensive care units, emergency rooms, and outpatient settings both in the private sector and in academia, as well as teaching medical students and residents. Dr. Troxclair’s career has been spent treating patients with an approach that addresses the whole person, not just individual disease states. He is adept at helping people get off of a multitude of medications and taking control of their health from a biological level, typically starting with nutrition. Early on his gut told him that medicine was not a ‘one size fits all’ practice, and has always been on the fringe with doctors who attempted to go against the grain when addressing his patients individual needs. The practice has allowed him to merge integrative, functional, and nutritional therapies with traditional medicine into a more cohesive practice. Dr. Trox’s goal is to change health outcomes in patients with chronic diseases who are not improving in our current medical system. He wants patients to continue to learn what they can do to become healthier and feels that medicine is ever evolving. Dr. Troxclair wishes to instill in patients information to improve their health on their own, thus freeing themselves from a litany of supplements and medications.
