Should 16 year olds vote?

As part of a manifesto pledge, the Labour Government will be giving 16 and 17 year olds the right to vote. This is the largest expansion of the voter franchise in almost half a century. A bold, risky move by Labour that holds many possible consequences...

I'm here to discuss as many of them as possible. Hear the political motives by Labour, the potential political changes and the pros and cons of this proposal. Is it as simple as - "They can't buy a pint so can't vote"... (it's not)!
