Shots fired after truck tries to drive onto Alameda Coast Guard base

Tensions erupted into gunfire last night at the Coast Guard Island in Alameda, as security guards opened fire on a truck that tried to drive onto the island. While the planned surge of federal immigration agents into San Francisco may be off, the Justice Department is still warning California officials against interfering with operations.
