In this episode I talk with Trevor Silva from My Cluck Hut, and we’re talking about how shopping and what businesses people support is very much a form of resistance.
Trevor Silva is the CEO and Co-founder of My Cluck Hut, an unapologetically people-first company with a soap problem. Born in Northern Virginia, but Nashville based since 2005, Trevor spent 16 years as a professional drummer before realizing the touring life had become a dead-end. In 2020, while the world felt like it was on fire, he made a choice: stop complaining and start building the world he wanted to live in. Armed with an incredible soap formula created by his wife, Dr. Jennifer, Trevor launched a company not just to sell products, but to prove that business can be done differently. At My Cluck Hut, soap is the vehicle—but the mission is the movement. Built on values like equity, sustainability, and radical kindness, Trevor’s model flips the script on traditional capitalism. Because here, people come first. Always.
