  • No. 228: Let Her Stay In The Game with Madel Guevarra & Isay Aurellado
    Feb 20 2026

Ahead of International Womens Day 2026, Madel Guevarra & Isay Aurellado are partnering to launch their new program ‘Let Her Stay In The Game’ based at Hoops Sports Performance in Western Sydney. The program will enable teenage girls and women to stay in the game longer through access to education, inclusive programming, and connections.

Both Madel & Isay have long been involved in community basketball, and fill the gap for inclusivity amongst teenage girls in their communities that have historically seen them drop off the cliff when it comes to retaining girls in sports.

The program tips off on 28th February, with an IWD expert panel on 8th March talking to cultural diversity, unconscious bias & science backed research, and tailored training and goal setting sessions throughout March for teenage girls and women to stay in the game.

    Enjoy!

  • No. 227: WNBL (awards) Purple Reign
    Feb 6 2026

    WNBL awards season is here!

A season with so many moving parts, a clear top 3 teams may have iced out other contenders, injuries have cruelly cut short captivating seasons for prospective award candidates, and that old nugget - award fatigue.

We get creative with our own shoutouts and season highlights, but one thing we know is that the Queens of the court will shine in the new WNBL era purple reign.

    Enjoy!
