  • Written by Allama Iqbal Shikwa(Complaint), was published published in 1909, and Jawab-e-Shikwa(Response to complaint) was published in 1913. The name of this poem is "Shikwa" because in terms of subject matter, in 1st part Shikwa Allama Iqbal represents cry of contemporary humanity in the Divine Court. Shikwa is in the form of a complaint to almighty for having let down humanity and Jawab-e-Shikwa is in the form of God's reply.

Amazing poetry bad performance.

I love Iqbal’s work, though I do not understand it fully without translation, nonetheless it is beautiful. And though the poem it self is beautiful the narration is not. Iqbal puts a complaint there, and a complaint is never made this nonchalantly.
