Ottawa Rapid FC win their inaugural game at home against Toronto, who start 0-2 despite outplaying their opponents in both games. Barcelona and Arsenal will compete in the Champions League Final. Chelsea, despite bowing out meekly to Barca, wins the WSL league title. We finally know why Sam Kerr has been M.I.A. The FA bans transgender women from playing pro soccer in England. It’s official: The PWHL will be expanding to Seattle as well as Vancouver next year, growing the league from six to eight teams. The expansion draft will take place in late June.

Desiree Scott is retiring from the Women’s National Team – her final two friendlies will take place in Winnipeg and Montreal. Barcelona dominates Chelsea in the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final, while Lyon gets the better of Arsenal in the other semi. Chelsea fans are left wondering: where is Sam Kerr?

U. will meet in the first-ever all-England Champions League final. The hot PWHL rumour is that two west coast cities will be the next to get expansion franchises. The PWHL draft will be held in Ottawa this June.

On the bright side, Paige Bueckers tied a career high for points in a game and UConn looks like they’re on a mission. Michaela and Vanessa are joined by the NSL’s first-ever signing – AFC Toronto forward Jade Kovacevic – who gets to throw out the first pitch at a Blue Jays’ game! The Champions League final four is set: Arsenal v. Lyon & Barcelona v. Chelsea. Michaela and Vanessa celebrated the 200th episode of She’s Got Game by attending a Toronto vs. Montreal PWHL game at Place Bell in Laval and they got to experience a truly special moment. Meanwhile, Ottawa gives up six unanswered third period goals in a tough home loss to New York.
