Acerca de esta escucha
Our guest for Season 3 Episode 9 of the GAA Minor Moments podcast with Electric Ireland is former Meath Minor and former Leinster and Ireland Rugby player Shane Horgan.
Horgan takes a look back at growing up in Bellewstown and the influence GAA had on his life from playing in Cumann na mBunscol, to representing Meath as a minor, to representing his country on the Irish Rugby team. Horgan speaks on his career in Leinster and how influential his dad John was in his career.
He highlights the Lions Tour in 2005 as being an experience of a lifetime, as well as speaking on his iconic try scored in Croke Park against England in the 2007 Six Nations.
Every Tuesday well known Irish stars will share memories from their early sporting careers and reflect on the defining moments from playing Minor and how that shaped them both on and off the pitch.
