Shalom Macon is a growing and vibrant Messianic Jewish congregation in Macon, Georgia, serving our local community and reaching thousands around the world through online engagement. Our congregation (in-person and online) is a diverse community of disciples, both Jews and those from many nations, tribes, and tongues (Revelation 7:9). And while we are a Jewish synagogue, committed to the Jewish traditions, teachings, and lifestyle exemplified by our ancestors, our vision is to practice an inclusive Messianic Judaism for All Nations; a restoration of the faith of the earliest communities of Yeshua-followers; a window into the beauty of the Messianic Era in which King Messiah will reign. All rights reserved Cristianismo Espiritualidad Judaísmo Ministerio y Evangelismo

  • 5 Minute Torah - Tzav - Keep the Fire Burning
    Mar 27 2026

What if the most important fire in Scripture isn’t one you can see?

The Torah commands that the altar fire must never go out—but why repeat it three times? And what does that eternal flame have to do with your daily prayers… or your own heart?

In a world without a Temple, how do we keep the fire burning? Is prayer enough—or is something deeper required?

And if the early disciples said their hearts “burned within them,” what does it mean if ours don’t?

Are we tending the fire… or letting it fade?

Let’s explore this together in this week’s 5 Minute Torah.

  • Grace Is Misunderstood
    Mar 23 2026

What does grace really mean? In this opening message, Rabbi Damian Eisner challenges common assumptions about grace and salvation by tracing the biblical idea of chen as favor that is connected to tested faithfulness, covenant standing, and solidarity with others. Looking closely at Moses and Israel after the golden calf, this teaching shows that divine favor was already operating in Scripture in ways many believers have never fully considered.

Atonement Explained is a biblical teaching series designed to help viewers rethink what sacrifice and atonement really mean. With careful attention to Leviticus, the sacrificial system, Passover, grace, and the role of Yeshua, the series explores whether popular Christian ideas about penal substitution fully reflect the story and logic of Scripture.

Shalom Macon is a vibrant community of Jewish and Gentile believers in Messiah Yeshua, gathering in person in Macon, Georgia, and online around the world. We are committed to helping people encounter Jesus in His Jewish context through thoughtful teaching on Scripture, Israel, and the Kingdom of God, creating a place where Jewish believers can honor their heritage and Gentile believers can grow deeper in faith and understanding. Join us live every Saturday at 11:00 AM Eastern.

  • 5 Minute Torah - Vayikra - God’s Love Language
    Mar 20 2026

Why does the book of Vayikra (Leviticus) begin with sacrifices, blood, and purification rituals—topics many modern readers would rather avoid? If these practices feel strange or even disturbing today, what did they mean to those who first received them? And why did Jewish tradition begin a child’s Torah education with this very book?

The Hebrew word for sacrifice—korban—comes from a root meaning to draw near. But draw near how? On our terms, or on God’s?

Leviticus challenges a modern assumption: that worship should reflect our preferences. What if drawing close to God requires approaching Him the way He has asked?

Let’s explore why in this week’s 5 Minute Torah.
