José was the hardest working ranch hand around by anyone’s standards. He had married someone his mother approved of, but when that fell apart, his state of mind shifted to a continuous and deep sense of shame. Without any clear sense of direction, Jose unthinkingly decided to go down an unfamiliar road, a road leading to the terminal at Sex Crime Central, where the doors are always open for business.
