Several people critically injured in West Deptford multi-car crash

Multiple people were critically injured Sunday night in a major car crash in West Deptford, Gloucester County. This happened around 5:45 at Red Bank and Hessian avenues. Surveillance video shows one car speeding through the intersection and hitting two other cars. Authorities in South Jersey say multiple people are in critical condition, but they did not give an exact number. An employee at a gas station down the road told NBC10 that he called police just before the crash because several people were causing a disturbance there. Then, when police arrived, the people fled the scene in their car. Officials have not confirmed whether this was the car involved in the crash. Gloucester County officials said there was another crash with multiple people critically injured on Route 76 in nearby Camden County Sunday night. These two crashes are not believed to be related.
