  • A Steadfast Heart: How Honesty Impacts Emotional Health
    Feb 25 2026

Leslie continues the Steadfast Heart series with an important look at honesty from a Biblical perspective. Over the past decade or so, there has been a renewed focus on honesty in modern Christianity. But in many cases, it’s not the same kind of God-honoring honesty that we see in Scripture - it's merely a venting of negative emotions. Being “raw and real” is touted as a spiritual virtue these days, but often it promotes a kind of “realness” that is does not promote true emotional health. In this episode, Leslie contrasts counterfeit honesty with Biblical honesty, and shows us how true honesty will help our emotions remain grounded in Truth.

  • A Steadfast Heart: How Faith Builds Emotional Health
    Feb 18 2026

Leslie continues the Steadfast Heart series with a powerful message about faith and how it impacts our emotions. In the modern Church, doubt is widely accepted - and even embraced, which can lead to a sense of despair, discouragement and even hopelessness. It can feel like an uphill battle to trust God and stand boldly on His promises when it comes to our own daily needs. Yet, the Bible makes it clear that He longs for us to give Him the opportunity to show Himself strong on our behalf. This episode challenges us to ask the question - are we willing to give Him that opportunity?

  • A Steadfast Heart: Think on These Things, Part One
    Jan 8 2026

Leslie continues the Steadfast Heart series with a Biblical look at how our thoughts impact our emotional health. The enemy is continually baiting us to think about things that are not true. If we dwell on thoughts, mindsets and ideas that do not align with God’s Truth, then our emotions will quickly go in the wrong direction. We will be ruled by things like fear, pride, rebellion, and rejection, instead of keeping our soul anchored to Jesus Christ. In this episode, Leslie offers Biblical and practical principles for keeping our thoughts centered on God's Truth, which in turn will keep our emotions grounded in Christ.
