Host Peter Gross introduces the Seniors Moment, agonizes over his theme music and interviews 91 year-old Yola Patterson. She talks about her decision to enter a seniors residence. In Canada, there does not appear to be a regular podcast aimed at seniors, but we found New Tricks for Old Dogs, a lively, irreverent show. We chatted with the hosts Paul Menzel and Jim Conlon to see what direction their show is going and how much we can steal. And just to get a little serious, OPP Detective-Constable John Armit of the Rackets Squad tells us just how serious extortion and romance fraud is for seniors.
