In the Marine Corps, Jace Newman carried both a machine gun and the responsibility of leading younger Marines whose lives depended on his judgment. At Camp Pendleton, as a squad leader with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Bravo Company, service was identity, discipline, and creed. Semper Fidelis.
