Understanding who a Christian really is will help to understand that we no longer have sin in us and should not be sin conscious.
Jesus didn't come to create a religion here for us on Earth but to fix the relationship that had been broken by man with God.
Through all this the only thing that we all have to do is just believe and everything is done. The presence of God in your life will change you as long as you pray and mediate on His word which He has given us to communicate with consistently.
