In this episode, Adam is joined by Dame Jackie Daniel, CEO of Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Dame Jackie began her NHS career as a nurse before moving into NHS management. She’s been a Chief Executive Officer for the last 16 years and In 2017, was recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours for her services to health care.
In this inspiring episode, Jackie shares how the underpinnings of her coach training with barefoot, helped her to handle some of her most challenging chief executive roles within the NHS.
We also talk about Jackie’s passion for supporting resilience and well-being - where she introduces her framework for developing the right mindsets and behaviours in NHS leaders, promoting self-care, and creating operating and governance structures that foster engagement and connection.
