The ImPactful Teen Innovation Sandbox program teaches students how to solve big challenges using a design thinking process in four phases: Understand, Ideate, Prototype and Pitch their solutions. The podcast provides an additional opportunity for the students to amplify their communication skills by learning from local leaders with domain expertise on a variety of global and local challenges. This group of students choose to explore how to tackle the challenge of "Quality Education." Team Future Equalizers targeted their creative flow towards the development of a transportation app to make it easier on students and families to get to and from school.

The Impactful Sandbox is a program developed by the Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education at the University of San Diego, Pactful, the social good app, Cloudcast Media and its SchoolCAST program.
