In this episode, Cocoa and Martinez discuss challenges they have faced while being in the military. With nearly twenty-four combined years of service, they have served as single parents, deployed several times, and overcome many obstacles. Early in their careers, they both had to learn how to be more tactful and how to walk away from situations. Although they have faced challenges, they have also experienced times of triumph. Towards the end of the episode, Cocoa and Martinez shared reasons why they feel so many young people could benefit from just a few years of military service.
