One of the most well educated men in baseball history Collins began his career in baseball witness protection but soon was spreading his astute knowledge on the base paths with anyone who would listen. This rubbed teammates the wrong way and made Eddie a clubhouse outcast in some cases; or maybe it was his strange superstitions. Whatever it was, Collins' habits allowed him to carve a special place for himself among the games greatest legends.

Sulphur Dell - first known as Athletic Park - hosted baseball games for nearly 100 years, including contested pennants, fan riots, and eventually some questionable yet interesting landscaping choices in right field.     Eds heads to the mound for his first outting of the season with the life story of Martin Dihigo. A Cuban superstar who many say was the greatest of his generation and the best player they ever saw at any position, and he played all of them. An eventual Hall of Famer, Dihigo earned his nickname El Immortal on both sides of the ball and eventually as a field general in the dugout, but unfortunately due to the circumstances of his day, his greatness for a while was lost in time.

Brown was one of the best Left Handed Pitchers in the first professional Negro Leagues but after a celebration ended in a horrific crime, Dave Brown disappeared. Almost 100 years later he was found to have been hiding in plain sight.

Two of the earliest baseball stars on both sides of the ball the White Brothers left a lasting legacy upon the history of the game.

Moret became a can't miss prospect with Boston but couldn't solidify his position in their rotation. His career would fade as fast as it rose and unfortunately he would be known more for an infamous moment in the Texas Rangers clubhouse than his pitching.
