  • Bodily Resurrection: A Hypothesis
    Nov 13 2025

This study hypothesizes a possible mechanism for bodily resurrection, based on what we have learned about biology and neuroscience over the last century. The purpose for the paper is not to claim that I have definitively “solved” the mystery of the resurrection or to present some sort of new theological dogma. It is a model, a conceptual tool designed to demonstrate the plausibility of a bodily resurrection that is compatible with modern science, as well as Biblical teaching. My hope is that this study would strengthen the faith of those who may believe that a bodily resurrection is a fanciful notion.
