Nov. 30, 2025 ~ Robert Livernois discussed the stalled Michigan legislation on banning cell phones in schools with David Randels, who explained the legislative process, reasons for the stall, and differences between House and Senate versions. Anchor Bay High School Principal Mike McKenzie and teacher Kristen Anderson shared their positive experiences with their school’s self-imposed cell phone ban, noting improved student engagement and reduced behavioral issues. Students Cameron Barbier and Aiden Becker from Anchor Bay High School offered a student perspective, highlighting increased social interaction and focus in class, and expressing an intent to carry these practices into college.
