Schiestel Speaks Sports: February 27, 2025

In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from Feb. 27, 2025, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports. To begin the episode, Ryan talks about the SAU baseball team’s struggles in Indiana. Then, he covers the red hot softball team. Afterwards, he covers the upcoming track and field national meet, and two wrestlers competing in the national tournament. Ryan concludes the first half by previewing the upcoming cheer and dance competitions.

After a station break, it’s the slow start for men’s lacrosse, and a preview of the women’s season. Ryan also provides an update on the strong start to the men’s volleyball season. To conclude the episode, Ryan discusses the success of SAU’s basketball programs on senior day, and the elimination of the men’s team in round one of the playoffs.
