Exodus: The Sea | Exodus 14:5–14

What happens when you’re trapped—when fear closes in and the way forward seems impossible?

This week we journey with the Israelites to the shores of the Red Sea, a pivotal moment in the story of Exodus and in the history of God’s people. With Pharaoh’s army behind them and water ahead, Israel panics. Despite God’s miracles, they still doubt. But Moses delivers a powerful promise:

“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” (Exodus 14:14)

Just like the Israelites, we too long for signs, for answers, for control. But the God who parted the sea is still at work today—doing far more than we ask or imagine. Even when sin clouds our thinking, when fear or pride get in the way, the Lord remains faithful. He protects, provides, and leads His people through the impossible.

    This message reminds us:

Faith must be formed in hard times if it’s to endure in easy ones.

Sometimes, we need to be still—and let God speak.

God does more than we can ask or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20)

The crossing of the Red Sea is not just a miracle from the past—it’s a picture of the deliverance, mercy, and grace that God still gives through Christ. The One who delivered Israel has delivered us—from sin, from death, and from every power that would enslave us.

🙏 Join us as we trust the God who makes a way through the waters.

  • Sermon: Freedom in Christ | Galatians 6:1–10; John 8:31–38 | The Truth Will Set You Free
    Jul 7 2025

Freedom in Christ | Galatians 6:1–10; John 8:31–38

What would you change if you could change just one thing in your life? The stress, the burdens, the regret—are we stuck with them forever? Or is there a deeper kind of freedom—one that lasts?

In this message, we hear both Jesus and the Apostle Paul speak about true freedom. It doesn’t come from escaping responsibilities or avoiding pain. It comes from the cross. Because of Christ, we are no longer enslaved to sin, fear, or failure. We've been set free to love, to serve, to bear one another's burdens.

🕊️ “For freedom Christ has set us free” (Gal. 5:1).

⛓️ “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

    Key Takeaways:

You are not alone in your struggles—God meets you in them.

Freedom in Christ means casting your anxieties on Him and walking in the Spirit.

You are freed for a purpose: to care, to comfort, and to share the hope of the Gospel.
