Hey SatsMate Stackers,

I hope you are all doing well! Wow, it is crazy to see the price get to the levels that it has so far this year. It feels great, but this podcast is my suggestion on becoming more based in our reasons on why we are getting into Bitcoin. I think many of us that are in it for the price, are out of it for the price just as quickly. I think this is why, we must buy this asset for deeper reasons than just the fiat price.

Specifically, in this podcast I go over the following important topics:

• My least favorite podcasts and videos are price predictions
• People get into the asset for the wrong reasons
• Most of our fiat struggles come from the high time preference behavior of always focusing on self-enrichment
• We get into things we don’t understand, can’t handle the volatility, and end up losing a lot
• If you are into it for as shallow a reason as the price goes up, the first thing you will do when it goes down is sell
• You will miss out on the window to truly accumulate
• The true money is found beyond the shallow and into the deep
• Lots of institutions, companies, countries, and individuals are stacking more than ever
• Even large governments, cities, and states are assessing allocating a percentage of this asset to their balance sheet
• The current price is about $119K, and depending on tariffs, war, debt issuance, and weakness in the dollar
• I think Bitcoin may hit up to $220-250K K pending things get worse with our debt
• During the upcoming bear market, I think the lows will be between 70 and 80K, worst case
• $100K is probably the new bear market low in my opinion
• Again, nobody holds the crystal ball; this is just my view
• The key thing to do is to focus on deeper reasons that price, that is, what will get you to accumulate more than most

Many of us may sometimes feel like there isn't enough time to get ahead. To make ends meet, sometimes we must sacrifice our free time to make extra money. Unfortunately, this trap can end up being never-ending, and we cannot get our time back.

In this podcast, I go over many things that we can do as individuals to buy back our time. Specifically, I cover the following key topics:

• Many of us are on a treadmill where we consistently need to work
• We are almost forced to consistently earn promotions, moving up the ladder, because of fiat debasement
• When I started my job, I bought 1 bonus, x, 1 year later, it purchased y, and now it buys z
• So, Bitcoin fortunately inverts the fiat monetary system
• Imagine a future if you love art, you can sell a few paintings a year and earn a living
• Or a future where you don’t need to work 3 jobs to make ends meet and pay rent
• A future where you can set aside $50 USD, and it has a more than neutral outcome of hitting 500K in 5-10 years
• You can chase your passions, and not consistently sell your soul for the fiat hamster race many of us are in
• I know some people who need to work 7 days a week to pay for their lifestyle (albeit nice)
• Further, people I know sell their souls for 5 hours a day with long commutes, just to make ends meet
• Others work a few hours a day, and have plenty to live a nice life, the way you want. What would you choose?
• I think 70% of us would choose the few hours a day to live life how we want
• Buy back your time, with the time chain
• It is called a time chain for many reasons, but the way I see it is that the money can’t debase your time and limited life energy
• For that reason alone, it is priceless

I hope you are doing well! This podcast is a little bit different, and it goes over many of the pitfalls that successful people encounter. People work relentlessly to build an excellent career, and some can manage to get to the theoretical "top", just to end up fumbling it a few years later. In today's podcast, I go over a few of such cases, and why it is important to remain based, and keep a clean history:

• Not all people are fortunate enough to become successful
• Many famous crypto influencers (like Bitboy, Lark Davis, SBF, Do Kwonand many others)
• Furthermore, it happens in the traditional world as well, with people like Salt Bae
  • Other examples are Kevin Spacey, Lance Armstrong, and Sammy Sosa
  • Or even Jared from Subway
• Some of us are fortunate to climb to the top, but we need to ensure we do it the right way
• All the above examples did make it to success, but they fell on their sword with greed, trying to maintain success (despite being past prime), or they had a skeleton in their past
• As bitcoiners, we often say - stay humble and stack sats
• Put in that proof of work, and the results will come
• I think the foundation we build needs to be on concrete, steel, and titanium
• Many people want to get rich quickly, but what foundation are you building on then?
• Maybe you can fool people for a year, maybe 2, or maybe even 5 - but eventually things come full circle
• Focus on building and doing things properly… It could take longer, but the results will be better

I just recently got back from a several-week trip across Europe (Switzerland, Germany, and the Czech Republic). Through my travels, I experienced many things that I would like to share with you, both good and bad. Travel is such an important thing to do to widen one's perspectives and experience a different culture and way of life. In this podcast, I cover many things that I have found fascinating, specifically, I go over the following:

• Traveled across Switzerland, Germany, and the Czech Republic over the past 3 weeks
• Yearly travel is important to widen one's perspective and further gain exposure to different ways of life
• Throughout the trip, I used bitcoin several times, and I have some strong impressions after using it
• Overview of Zurich, Rhine Falls, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Jungfrau, Murren, Lugano, Nuremberg, and Prague
• Highlights of travel with Bitcoin, and Bitcoiners I have met up with
• The cleanliness, the feeling, and overall standpoint of Europe over the past couple of weeks
• My love of travel is still here, but I think it is starting to change
• I am excited about the future of Bitcoin in Europe, but things need to change overall for it to be used more widely
• The trip was a solid 9/10, despite the sickness I faced and the spending I incurred
• Would do it again, but remember, the stuff you see on social media is only a fraction of all the craziness you need to deal with

I hope you are all doing well! For the past several weeks, I traveled to several Bitcoin conferences. In this podcast, I go over both conferences and share some of my final thoughts. Specifically, I go over the following:

• Attended Bitcoin Vegas and Bitcoin Prague over the past month.
• Conferences are key for networking, connecting with Bitcoin enthusiasts, and getting firsthand industry insights.

Bitcoin Vegas:

• Mixed experience: fiat-heavy, expensive, and some shady #*@#coiners.
• Navigated the right circles, had fun, and made it worthwhile.
• Highlight: Ross’s incredible speech and meeting leaders at side events.
• Least favorite compared to Miami and Nashville; rated 6/10.

Bitcoin Prague:

• Standout event: intimate, focused on genuine networking, fewer scams.
• Some salesy booths, but the Primal booth was fun; enjoyed Czech pints while watching speakers or on the patio.
• Affordable food trucks; the only downside was the slightly remote location.
• Rated 9/10.

Final Thoughts:

• Bitcoin maxis should try international conferences like Prague over mainstream BTC events.
• Hesitant to attend another conference soon, but would likely choose one abroad for a better experience.

For the longest time, many naysayers would say I can't pay for this or that with Bitcoin, but now you can! • It’s a classic chicken-and-egg problem, but things are finally changing!
• Steak ‘n Shake announced a few days ago that they will begin accepting Bitcoin starting May 16, 2025.
• With approximately 400 locations, the brand serves over 100 million customers annually.
• This is a significant milestone for the U.S., as many believe Bitcoin’s store-of-value narrative is well-established, and now the medium-of-exchange narrative is gaining traction.
• In two weeks, we plan to visit a Steak ‘n Shake and record our experience for you.
• A key question is whether they will convert the Bitcoin to cash or hold it as Bitcoin.
• We expect more businesses to follow suit in the coming months as America emerges as the Bitcoin capital of the world!
