Ruchit Kulkarni graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science. His expertise lies in analysing the causes of extreme rainfall on a daily timescale across western New South Wales. Using historical records and modern datasets, he works to understand how our climate is changing and what that means for future risks. Ruchit is passionate about science communication and regularly engages with students and community audiences to discuss weather, climate, and natural hazards
