    "The sound of the rope being pulled along the pulley drawing in the water from the well. The sound of water pouring from the bucket onto the drum. The sound of children playing in the yard with their delightful shouts, their laughter, their giggles. The sound of the metal gate opening with a squeaky sound as my grandfather would enter the home, carrying in hand some delicacies that you could smell from far away. The creaking sound of the seesaw as children play."

    "Her life is in stress, with her traveling back to the country to tend to her terminally ill father and being torn between the sense of duty as a dutiful, loving daughter and being a strong parent to her kids. The kids cannot adapt to her country as they were born to the culture of the country where she resides and she does sense that they will not be comfortable to move. Her husband will never agree to the custody of the kids."

    "He would call all of his friends home. Today everyone would listen to the birthday boy. He would be the most popular as all of the kids wanted to be invited to his birthday party. He was a generous fellow and loved sharing. Happily. He wriggled his little body and went to the bathroom to relieve himself and brush his teeth. He was a big boy and could do all of this by himself. He quickly peeped in the bedroom impatiently. He was relieved to see his parents up and about."
