  • 176 Culture & Dharma – Boston ISKCON Temple: Swami Prabhupada statue honoring his arrival in America
    Nov 15 2025

On a recent weekend trip to Boston, Massachusetts, I wanted to visit the ISKCON temple. My schedule changed at the last minute and I wasn't able to attend any of their daily arati services or go inside, but I was delighted by the statue they have outside of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada arriving by boat to America. From wiki: "After surviving two heart attacks during his maritime journey, Bhaktivedanta Swami finally arrived at the Boston Harbor on 17 September 1965, and then continued on to New York City." He had a sojourn in Pennsylvania, but after a month re-located to NYC. In 1966 ISKCON was incorporated. The Boston temple was established in 1968. I was told by KC Dasa, bassist of the Krishnacore band Shelter, that he stayed here when he was a member as this was the place to learn how to improve one's book distribution.

I'm not part of ISKCON & routinely confess a love/hate relationship with Swamiji & the organization, but only a fool would deny the influence of Srila Prabhupada & ISKCON on religion in the west & the world & Sanatana Dharma globally. I believe he forever changed the world spiritually, culturally, socially. Those who only know the Hare Krishnas from their restaurants and comedic appearances in movies don't know the big picture.

I was very happy to spend a few minutes outside the Boston ISCKON temple. Website to the temple here Live 11/22/2025, pre-recorded 9/20/2025.

  • 173 Culture & Dharma - Can't Debate The Woke Left Anymore? Here's why! Proof woke is a cult!
    Oct 28 2025

Discussing why it seems impossible for people on the Right to talk to those on the Left, particularly since Charlie Kirk's murder. Yet, the Left says they desire conversation, but the response is to be called names, to have every source question, to be laughed at, to be shut down immediately, and more. I explain the very simple reason why this is so and what we can do about it. Live 10/25/2025, pre-recorded.

0:00 – Left can no longer be debated due to cult mentality as the Left is a cult (referenced show #163 on why MAGA is not a cult)
3:49 – Can't talk to people with a cult mindset | paranoia, cult vs the world | guru is supreme who can't be questioned
6:31 – Ethical & moral obligation & imperative to protect guru & cult
7:59 – Woke progressive a cult but not religious nor guru-led | cult theology will save the world | ethically bound to kill Hitler, Trump is Hitler | ends justifies the means, sacrifice for greater good
13:28 – How do you talk to a cult member? | leaving a cult | talking to the Left is no longer a political debate
18:32 – Talking to brainwashed cult members who think Trump is Hitler which is the truth | Pol Pot, Left propaganda | having empathy instead of attacking
23:52 – Concluding thoughts | current Civil War
