Saltburn II: Throat Gho$t

It’s the fall of 2006, you know what that means…Arcade Fire’s 2009 album “The Suburbs” needs to be on the soundtrack! On this week’s episode, the Podcast 2 received a call from A24 - they want a sequel to Emerald Fennel’s 2023 hit film “Saltburn,” this time with even more sucking and slurping. How will we find a new character arc for Barry Koeghen’s character, especially when the last one ended with such finality? Will we be able to figure out a way to bring Jacob Elordi back? Will we be able to bring his eyebrow piercing back? Why did we spend so much of the episode talking about Dan Harmon’s “Monster House” screenplay?
