Saliva Commandos is the stage name of George Aponte, a DJ and producer based in New York City. He has been active in the music industry for over two decades, starting off as a DJ in the underground house scene in the mid-1990s. Saliva Commandos' sound is heavily influenced by Latin and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, as well as the classic sounds of New York house music. He has released music on a variety of labels, including Nervous Records, Strictly Rhythm, and his own imprint, IN:COMMAND Records.
