This article describes a recent decision on PM 2.5 and Ozone that did an cost-benefit analyses that essentially placed the value of a "statistical life" at zero and focussed on the cost to business. This is a fantastically written article that actual does a deep-dive in a subject that we need to know about.

I believe the decision by the EPA might be the most significant change in policy in recent memory and might have broad implications across the board for C/B analyses.
