SOLAR, starring Stephanie Beatriz, Tony Award winner Alan Cumming, Academy Award winner Helen Hunt and Jonathan Bangs, is a journey to the heart of the solar system and an exploration of the vastness of the human spirit. Disconnected from Earth and trapped on separate parts of their spacecraft, crew members must fight for survival following a disaster on board the ill-fated Aethon, a manned solar research probe sent to explore temporal distortion around the sun. As painful memories, forgotten dreams, technological challenges and blunt realities collide--they must work together to keep their hope alive in the face of growing darkness. I really enjoyed this podcast. The story and plot are nicely complex and gripping. The actors are top notch and an amazing audio quality.
I'm rapidly becoming a fan of these podcast options. Enjoy!

Very good, truly enjoyable.

Seriously, words can not do this audio drama justice for how amazing everything sounds. Listen to this with headphones on!

Some of the best audio work I've heard

I binge-listened in a couple of days. I definitely enjoyed it most when listening with my headphones as it allowed a more immersive experience. The acting is VERY good, unlike some I've listened to. Definitely give it a listen!

Very good!

The big name cast and audio effects are pretty nice, but the story has significant problems that anyone who actually pays attention to space flight will get distracted by. The people in the story are obviously do not have good personalities for space flight. There are aspects of how they act that make for good drama but are poor procedures and there is no way a responsible agency would follow. There are clearly 2 sides to the crew due to the public/private partnership of the mission, except the private sector aspect has somehow been made completely mysterious to most of the crew, and they are ok with this.

Basically, this was a mystery/drama written as a sci-fi story by someone who clearly has no science background, or interest in science. It's dramatic, to be sure, but there are so many situations that are a result of just flat out unrealistic stupidity, that it's distracting. There are the bones for an interesting story here, but there are too many concessions to creating drama for it to not make you wonder how these people even got a rocket off the ground. Maybe if it were the military, but since it's not, too much of the setup just doesn't work. You can power through it, but you've really got to suspend your sci-fi and science sensibilities to do so, on the level of watching Armageddon.

Good presentation, good drama, bad sci-fi

Liked the story. Distracted by the overly dramatic conversations and soliloquies. Plus, some of the voices actors sounded like they’re constantly mumbling their lines. Nevertheless, glad I made it through and finished the series. The ending is not wholly predictable. When I wasn’t annoyed, I was engaged and intrigued. -

Interesting story, but distracted by the over-acting

My first introduction to your podcast, was listening to explanations about a story. I never heard. I have no desire whatsoever to hear the opinions of your actors
Until I’ve heard them act you forcibly shoved down my throat, reviews, and opinions from voice actors.
Learn to tell a story properly start with the story than the cast review at the end, maybe you should go back to some form of schooling, which will allow you to put a podcast in the proper order
in the last 2 1/2 minutes, I have heard more about money pickle then I’ve heard about the storyline you’re forcing advertisements down my throat
It’s called a bait and switch
 Here’s some common sense marketing
Not that you’ll have the common sense to take it
Get the reader, hooked on the story, then advertise to me
You have advertised money pickle and how to get an ID to vote anyone who wants to actually follow this podcast needs to consider this you’ve just walked into a timeshare seminar. You will get very little time to share, and a lot of advertisements forced down your throat.
Four advertisements in four minutes of me, trying to listen to a storyline is beyond inappropriate

Get to the story then give me reviews on what I’ve heard
