  • Skinnytok is a side of TikTok where users talk about weight loss and give dieting advice. Although skinnytok may be helpful for some, it has caused extreme harm to others. Skinnytok often promotes extreme weight loss methods and unhealthy behaviors associated with eating disorders. In today’s episode, I talk about my opinion on toxic diet culture and my experience with an eating disorder.

    My intention with today’s episode is to remind you that you’re more than your body. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to take care of yourself, move your body, or eat healthy, but don’t let it be at the expense of your mental health or relationship with food or your body.
