After the Big Ten vs SEC discussion, the fellas take a look into a highly anticipated matchup between a Big Ten and SEC school: Ohio State and Alabama. Recently, it was suggested from Paul Finebaum that Alabama would heavily consider canceling this series. Scheduled to play in 2027 and 2028, would it be soft to cancel this matchup between two of the premiere programs in the sport? Andy & Ari think so.
Next up, in hoops, the guys head to Lawrence, Kansas, where the 9th ranked Jayhawks just knocked off the top ranked Arizona Wildcats. While the game was exciting, there was also some other news regarding one of the more prominent players on Kansas’ roster: freshman star Darryn Peterson. As Peterson did not play against Arizona on Monday, his absence raised some questions and caused a stir on social media. Andy & Ari break it down here.
To close the Megaboard segments, Andy & Ari notice a t-shirt that has been fairly popular as of late: The Big Ten Trifecta Championship shirt. Celebrating the championships of Michigan, Ohio State, and now Indiana, this t-shirt includes all three schools on the front. Is anyone really buying this?
To wrap up the show, Andy & Ari head to the 2026 Winter Olympics. You’ll never believe where this wild story ends up.
