Research indicates that between 94% and 99% of women in abusive relationships have experienced some form of financial abuse. A survey found that nearly 22% of individuals have experienced financial abuse in a past relationship . Men are more likely than women to commit financial deception, with 47% of men admitting to such behavior compared to 39% of women . These statistics highlight the pervasive issue of financial exploitation in relationships, underscoring the need for increased awareness and preventive measures.
