Acerca de esta escucha
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy has made impressive advancements in treating patients with blood cancers, such as leukemia and lymphoma, for more than a decade now. In this episode, we traverse the challenges and innovations of cell immunotherapy and better understand the design behind these logic-gated, genetically engineered cytotoxic cells with Dr. Yvonne Chen, a leading expert in the field. Dr. Chen is an incredibly accomplished Professor of the MIMG and CBE departments at UCLA and currently leads a Phase 1 Clinical Trial (NCT04007029) using bispecific anti-CD19/anti-CD20 CAR-T cells to treat patients with B cell malignancies.
