What happens when the Jesus' followers are attacked instead of applauded?
In this episode, we step into Acts 8:1–8, where the violent death of Stephen ignites a fierce wave of persecution against the early church. Saul—the man we will later know as the apostle Paul—emerges as a central figure, relentlessly hunting down believers and dragging men and women into prison. The Jesus' believers are scattered… but the gospel is not silenced.
As believers flee for their lives, they carry the message of Jesus with them, fulfilling Jesus' promise that His witnesses would go to Judea, Samaria, and beyond.
We follow Philip, one of the original deacons, as he brings the good news into Samaria—a place long rejected and despised by devout Jews.
Next episode: Philip’s encounter with Simon the sorcerer—and a sobering lesson about belief, power, and the heart.
