Happy New year of 2022 and welcome to Human Trafficking Awareness Month! Im so happy to have Soap2Hopes ED, January, a phenomenal poet and mother bringing us into both of these occasions.
She opens up with her poem reading called, "Swallowed" and she is going to enlighten our minds with her truths of doing outreach in the mean streets of Utah and continuing the needed work that is not often done for victims of exploitation. January will share truths through her journey of surviving incarceration, suicide, trafficking, and the journey of addiction and trauma recovery. Many will listen and connect especially when we have far too often felt volunteers to trauma also.
