The morning after being stranded in Littleville, the crew's hopes for a quick car repair are dashed. They discover their vehicle was sabotaged, and the local mechanic, Jimmy, will only help if they get approval from the town's enigmatic leader, Father Marcos. As some members seek out help and answers, uncovering unsettling truths about the town's undercurrents and its "Church of the Angels," their visit to Father Marcos takes a dark turn. A demand to use neurocasters leads to a hostile confrontation, forcing a desperate shift to a new escape plan just as an unknown threat speeds their way.
