S2 Newport Folk | Trailer

Hosted by Carmel Holt, Festival Circuit's Season Two will tell the story of Newport Folk Festival through the eyes, ears and hearts of the many artists, fans, organizers and staff who have built the festival into something that continues to evolve past the notion of a single concert event into something much larger and more meaningful: a living, breathing community.

We’ll weave together the story of this community with the help of interviewees like founder of the Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals George Wein, musicians Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Margo Price, Judy Collins, Colin Meloy (The Decemberists), Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), Our Native Daughters (Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, Allison Russell and Leyla McCalla), Ben Jaffe (Preservation Hall Jazz Band) and Indigo Girls, photographer Danny Clinch, Newport Executive Director Jay Sweet and many more.
