In this week’s episode of the B Well Club podcast, we’re going for gold! Breast Cancer UK CEO Thalie Martini welcomes Olympic Champion Sophie Capewell MBE, who topped the podium last summer at the 2024 Paris games in the team sprint. We know that staying active can reduce our risk of breast cancer by around 20%, but hitting our fitness goals can be difficult, something that the Team GB cyclist knows better than anyone, having had to deal with her own very personal loss.
In spite of her struggles, Sophie tells Thalie what drives her forwards, how cycling helped her through her grief, and the benefits of being part of a team when it comes to hitting your targets.
