On this episode of The TFP Civic Report Athena Promachus and Caroline Penny are joined by Noah Buchanan, and Elliot Ownbey Today co-hosts Athena Promachus, and Caroline Penny sit with Elliot Ownbey, and Noah Buchanan “The Trans Formations Project is a trans-led nonprofit that tracks anti-trans legislation being proposed, voted on, and passed in the US. A few other organizations do this, but its behind a paywall and they don't track as much as we do. We also have a weekly newsletter of the bills, some good/positive bills, and some action items (i.e. protests, bill hearings, etc.). We share out our content in Daily Threads on all social media platforms.” Through our Civic Report, we hope to educate the public to make well-informed decisions that can and will impact everyone, and advance the core tenets of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that these values are essential to a healthy and thriving democracy, and we are committed to promoting them through our reporting. We believe that everyone has a right to be informed, and that access to accurate and unbiased information is essential for a functioning democracy.
