Meg's bio
Meg never expected that one day she would be able to call herself a survivor. She'd only dated him 6 months when the abuse became physical and she discovered he'd been stalking her with cameras and stalkerware while they'd been dating. Meg finally got peace 7 years later in 2020. She had been studying Digital Forensics to help victims of digital stalking when people started asking her to share her story to raise awareness. She founded Dating Tips by Meg to educate and prevent dating abuse and violence and also to help victims know that they can get out there is help available. Meg speaks in schools and universities, women's' groups, law enforcement and advocate trainings and guests on podcasts to impact violence. She believes that we can take the power away from abusers by talking about abuse, violence and stalking versus letting these subjects hide. Meg also enjoys spending time traveling and hanging with her grown children. Summer is her favorite season- she loves recharging during that time of year. There is hope and help.
