Welcome to the latest episode of How Could We?, recorded live at the ChangeNOW summit in Paris - an event focused on showcasing sustainable solutions and profiling sustainability leaders making an impact.
This season is focused on adaptation and climate resilience and for this week's episode, Anne-Sophie Garrigou is joined by Joshua Amponsem, Co-Director of the Youth Climate Justice Fund and Founder of the Green Africa Youth Organization.
Joshua has spent the last decade pushing for more inclusive climate policies, shaped international forums like the UN Youth Climate Summit and led groundbreaking work, including the Global Youth Call to Action on adaptation. His work challenges the colonial roots of climate funding and calls for a new era of climate finance, one that truly supports local leadership, youth innovation, and indigenous wisdom.
In this episode, Joshua talks about the injustice of climate finance, the need to support leadership coming from the global south, and what it takes to shift decision making and funding to the communities that are living through and needing the transition.
