This episode... James Geering is the founder of the Behind the Shield Podcast and is pioneering the way for change in the fire service. In this episode, we uncover the gems in his new book, KINDER. After reading four chapters of this book, my life was never going to be the same. James brought light to what so many of us go through in the fire service. BUT! What an absolute banger of an episode. I dig the longer yet very genuine conversation. These topics come up often on the Firehouse Leadership Podcast, I enjoyed listening to Josh and James dive into them! Leading involves caring for the people you lead! Giving them hope and guidance instead of a sour attitude and negativity is something I wish was commonplace in fire service. Thanks to both of you and keep doing what you’re doing!
